Commentary for Wilfred Owen Transformation

Commentary For my transformation I chose Wilfred Owens poem Exposure. I chose this for my anchor text beca mapping I enjoyed Owens elevated use of lexis to appoint to the obscene weather conditions in the poem. I as well as enjoyed how Owen underline the importance of epoch and waiting in the poem, done this conceit I thought I could produce a perish transformation. I chose to turn my transformation into the form of a letter, I did this because I felt that the olfactory perceptions of Owen could be vex outed expertly in a letter however I could not drive home the letter addressed to a family member of Owens because the feelings presented in his poem would not welcome been suitable to reveal to the members of his family thusly I addressed the letter to a friend of Owens who had been in the Army and been through the same or same events as Owen himself. I started my letter with the date however I did not make it specialized because I wanted to portray that Owen has los t track of time and cant be sure what mean solar day it truly is. The first major office of the letter focuses on the hardness of the weather and conditions that Owen faced in the trenches. In the beginning of the fourth carve up I described the revolt of the sun as the dark turns to dawn, even though this should start forth hope for the soldiers in the tre nches I used it to emphasises the sobriety ! of the situation Owen and his comrades were in. even though the sun has risen and it is meant to be a new day they still stand in that location in the trenches as nothing happens and the freeze to death, this further accentuating the inutility of war.
