Personal Statement - Taking a Gap Year

I am not someone who knew what I treasured to do well(p) from the beginning. I had ceaselessly portrayed myself as a make; a future in medicine. However, I obligate well-educated that this is not where my true hotness lies. I have always well enjoyed math and physics, and these have always been my favorites, and the ones in which I excel. Until my senior stratum, in which I took calculus, I was involved in an IMP math course, where everything was establish on enigma closure involving multiple variables and word problems. I constantly looked in the lead to these classes, and I relished the fact that we didnt vindicatory solve straight forward questions, but had to solve obscure problems where the process to obtain a solution involved umteen contrastive steps and variables and was neer straightforward.\nIn my junior family of high school, my math instructor invited me and a ten dissimilar top students where we met and heard from quaternion women engineers. This i s when my interest in engineer was sparked. They talked more or less the things they helped create and the different jobs they performed. I was fascinated, and began to envision myself lot create systems that didnt contend human energy inputs to operate. As I delved further into my donnish life, I knew I wanted to pursue a career I was passionate active and would love doing, not a career based on the salary. This new mindset was brought about by my mother and return who told me, If you do what you love, youll never fail a day in your life. The second semester of my junior year I joined robotics social club to test the waters of what engineering science might be like. I absolutely fell in love. I thoroughly enjoyed the task of building different machines and systems and loved the way I had to invest problem a multitude of skills and ideas into one cipher such as problem solving, math, physics, and leadership.
